The garden is enchanting, perfect for a game of hide and seek. I had a blast playing ping pong and swimming indoors. Wi-Fi was a nice bonus.
Oh, how I wish there were more things to complain about. Life would've been so dull.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautifully converted farmhouse just outside of Bayeux. the location was perfect for exploring the town, the Tapestry museum, and the WW2 Normandy sites. the farm buildings were modern and comfortable, with each room having its own bathroom and toilet. the breakfast provided was abundant and delicious, with a variety of tasty treats each morning. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and the reliable wifi. Catherine, our host, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Cons: Could not be improved in any way! 😊.

The setting and main house were quintessential French countryside. The hostess was outstanding and her sweet golden retriever greeted us everytime we were outdoors! Although we did not use it, there was a lovely indoor pool for our enjoyment. The room is large and new and clean. All the key D Day sights are within a 20 and 45 minute drive. Many good restaurants within 15 to 20 minute drive. Free car parking on the property is ample. The breakfast is fine. The owner was very helpful. Ask her to show you the large portrait of two German soldiers on a wall in the main house drawn during the German occupation. Wow!
100% Recommend this hotel.

The best aspects of our stay were the beautiful countryside setting and the warm hospitality of the hosts. We enjoyed waking up to the peaceful surroundings and the delicious homemade breakfast. The location was also perfect for exploring the D Day sites, as it was very close to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. being in a quiet rural area allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside.
The worst aspects of our stay were the difficulty in finding the hotel and the inconvenience of the room layout. It was a bit challenging to find the hotel as the address was not accurately reflected on the map.

The rooms were spacious and cozy, perfect for our large family. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor picnic area in the courtyard, and the breakfast served in the separate residential block was delicious. The location was ideal for exploring Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Highly recommended for families seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.
For dads, it would be great to have a small play area for the kids.

Friendly reception, homemade breakfast, great location for those with a car, indoor swimming pool in a converted barn. Relaxing atmosphere, lovely stone building, delicious and healthy breakfast. The farmhouse offers a countryside feel yet is close to local attractions. The breakfasts were varied with additional treats like fresh raspberries and cherry tart. The hostess, Catherine, made us feel welcome and even provided the necessary picnic supplies for our late evening. Recommended for those seeking a unique accommodation experience in this area.
